BackgroundThe United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa (ROMENA) is implementing the project Strengthening Yemen Coast Guard Operational Capacity. To support sustainable operations, UNODC intends to procure and install multiple hybrid solar power systems (11kW 25kW capacity) across different Yemen Coast Guard facilities in Aden, Yemen.2. Scope of RequirementsThe scope of supply and services includes, but is not limited to:• Supply of hybrid solar power systems including: o High-efficiency N-type monocrystalline solar panels (700W each, ≥22.5% efficiency) o Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery storage units (≥15 kWh per system) o Hybrid inverters (11kW 25kW) with MPPT controllers, grid integration, and BMS compatibility o Cabling, breakers, grounding systems, mounting structures (flat rooftop, metallic rooftop, ground-mounted carport style), accessories, and safety equipment• Installation, commissioning, and integration of the systems with facility infrastructure• Provision of air conditioning units (18,000 BTU) for battery rooms and high-pressure washers for solar panel cleaning• On-site technical training for Yemen Coast Guard personnel on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting• Delivery of as-built technical drawings and documentation• Minimum one-year warranty on all supplied systems and components Specific Requirements/Information 3.
