Description:
Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation of Wastewater Network - Aden - Khormaksar. The project comprises the below main itemised works including provision of all necessary materials, machinery, manpower and construction works for: a. Force Main pipelines b. Rehabilitation of Khormaksar pumping station including pumps room and all civil & other services buildings, c. Mechanical, and electrical works including replacement of old pumps. The principle elements of the Works to be constructed and commissioned include but are not limited to the following: 1. Supply and laying new Force Main pipelines of HDPE pipes (about 275m of 710mm OD and about 255m of 630mm OD) and ductile iron pipes of about 575m of 1000mm including all related fittings, valves, and connections. In addition, the construction of chambers for air valves, gate valves, may be required. Due to site situation, parts of the existing pipelines may be removed and replaced by the new pipeline at the same route. 2. Rehabilitation of the pumping station: This includes the civil, mechanical, and electrical works; as well as the pumps room building and the surrounding service buildings and yards. 3. Mechanical and electrical works: Replacement of the old pumps by new pumps, including the piping system and fittings and other related electrical works; replacing the existing overhead crane by new one. bid bond: 3% The deadline for obtaining of Tender Documents is 05/09/2022.
