• Tenders are invited for Provision of Audit Service. The vision of Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) is Solidarity in Action. We are a politically independent membership-based organization working in Norway and in more than 30 countries around the world. Founded in 1939 as the labour movement-s humanitarian solidarity organization, NPA aims to improve people-s living conditions and to create societies that are just and more democratic. NPA-s international work covers three core areas: Mine Action and Disarmament, Democratisation and Just distribution of power and resources, and Humanitarian Action and Crises response. NPA has established a permanent presence in Aden and has formally registered with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC) as a humanitarian mine action operator in Yemen. NPA aims to use the country office in Aden to serve as a platform for future diversification into broader mine action and disarmament activities, including manual survey and clearance, and risk education as the context and funding permit. 1. Additional Information The accounting policies applied by Norwegian People-s Aid are in accordance with Norwegian Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (NGAAP) and current practices in humanitarian organizations. We are required to perform our audit in accordance with the international auditing standards. You will be responsible for forming a conclusion on compliance with the Ethical and Independence requirements and confirm to the lead global auditor that, in respect of the component, you are independent in accordance with the independence requirements of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) Code of Ethics. 2. Financial information: In the year 2022 NPA is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The total grant Amount secured at the beginning of June 2022 was approximately Norwegian Kroner (NOK) 12.5 million. You will be expected to do an institutional audit and a project audit of one of the projects with annual funding of 11.5 m NOK. The Key Team will comprise at least 1. Engagement Partner with over 6 years of auditing experience with sound knowledge of donor-financed projects 2. An Audit Manager with over 4 years of experience in Auditing and with a sound knowledge of donor-financed projects; 3. An Audit Team Leader with at least 3 yrs. experience in Auditing; and Sufficient Assistant Auditors with adequate experience and professional qualifications. An Offer should clearly include the following: · Company valid commercial local registration, TAX card, and Zakat card. · Documented experience & references from other similar transactions, companies, NGO-s, and UN agencies. · Validity of the submitted offer, indicate period of supply and installation of furniture for the targeted Health Facilities according to the distribution plan. · The tender shall consist of one original (marked “Original”) and (ONE) identical copies (marked “Copy). These should be sealed in two separate inner plain envelopes, duly marked “original” and “copies”. Tender must be submitted in sealed envelopes and indicate the reference number and Tender Subject in the envelope cover.
