• Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancies Services: Design and Study Engineer, Supervision for Road Maintenance Engineer, Material and Quality Control Engineer, Environment and Social Expert, Women and Gender Consultant, Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant. Project Name: Yemen Integration Urban Services Emergency Projects Phase II. Title of Consultancies Services: · Design and Study Engineer. · Supervision for Road Maintenance Engineer. · Material and quality Control Engineer. · Environment and Social Expert. · Women and Gender consultant. · Monitoring and Evaluation consultant. The (Yemen Integration Urban Services Emergency Projects Phase II and Additional Finance) was being financed by the World Bank and implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in partnership with Road Maintenance Fund Implementation Unit (RMF-IU). The project aimed basically to restore access to critical urban services in selected cities including urban roads both primary and secondary urban roads and cities entrances RMF Project Implementation Unit Created in 2005, the RMF‐IU has considerable experience in contract management. it had implemented several road maintenance and road rehabilitation contracts with funding from the road maintenance budget as well as from various donors, including the World Bank. For these contracts, the unit had managed all procurement activities for goods, works and consulting services. It had accumulated extensive experience in preparing bids, requests for proposals from consultants, and tender documents. The RMF‐IU is headquartered in Sana-a with a small office in Aden and Hadrmout. Recently, the Government of the Republic of Yemen has received a grant “The Yemen Integrated Urban Services Project phase II (YIUSP II) and Additional Fund (YIUSEP II AF)” from International Development Association (IDA) through the United Nation Office for Project services (UNOPS) ) in partnership with Road Maintenance Fund Implementation Unit (RMF-IU). The project aimed basically to restore access to critical urban services in selected cities including urban roads both primary and secondary urban roads and cities entrances ( Sana-a, Amran, Sa-ada, Yarim,IBB,Hodeidah and Taiz). The RMFIU has intends to apply parts of the proceeds of such financing to the consulting services . The RMF Project Implementation Unit now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, etc.). RMF-IU will select consultant individuals in accordance with the World Bank's "Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers" dated January 2011. Individual consultants will be selected on the basis of their relevant experience, qualifications, and capability to carry out the assignment.
